LAKOS SAND SEPARATOR

Are you getting SAND in your home? Than chances are it's eating up the impellers in your pump, plugging showerheads, filling your pressure tank, and driving you crazy. If that’s the case then the Lakos Sand Separator is just the thing you need.

The Lakos Sand Separator is a submersible filter that surrounds your pump and motor, using centrifugal force to form a vortex that forces sand down and allows your pump to draw water from the clean vortex created by the Lakos equipment.

With Lakos sand seperators, seperating sand from wells has never been so easy. Newly-Designed in 2006 with even greater efficiencies and LONGER Pump Protection Extends the life of submersible pumps up to 5 times in sandy wells!

Designed Primarily for Submersible pumps.

NOTE: the SUB-K must be set in the well at least 30 feet below the drawdown water level (when the pump is operating) and no less than 20 feet from the bottom of the well itself. This allows ample room for discarded sand to settle.

For larger submersible pumps and for all turbine pumps, please use the PPS Separator.

Selecting the Right Model:

Proper selection of these products involves matching the flow rate of the pump with the appropriate separator model.

A SUB-KOOL pump enclosure shell is required in greater-than-4-inch diameter wells to ensure the incoming water/sand passes through the SUB-K before entering the inlet slots of the submersible pump.

SELF BACK WASHING IRON FILTER

Do you have red staining in your toilets, sinks, and showers? Is their red water coming out of the tap when you first turn it on? You could be a victim of clear iron. If so take a look at our self-backwashing multi-media iron filter units. We have been putting in these new self-backwashing iron filters left and right. And to tell you the truth we, along with 99% of our customers have been very satisfied with them.

The filters have a computer chip in them that remembers the stats of your water, time of day, and date. The computer chip has a memory for up to 8 hours in case of power outage, but we have seen them keep the memory longer than that before. Usually we sell/install iron and water softeners together for a clean, pure, feel good water.

The filters are very low maintenance, take up minimal room, and work great. Once the filter is packed, installing the iron filter isn't too hard. Just cut the line going to the house plumb up and through the filter and tie back into the house line. Plug it in program it and their you go. Fresh, clean, red stain free water.

SELF BACK WASHING WATER SOFTNER

This water treatment system has been designed to provide you home with dependable, low-cost, treated water. The system is designed to operate without the need for regular maintenance, other than the addition of a regenerant if the system requires.

Softening Water is a 4-Step Process.

1) The body of a water softener is a tank filled with resin beads. These beads are covered with sodium ions. As hard water passes through, the resin beads act like a magnet, attracting the calcium and magnesium ions (hardness) in exchange for the sodium ions.

2) Eventually the resin beads become saturated with mineral ions and have to be re-charged." This process is called regeneration, and is conducted by the control valve on the top of the tank. The control valve is the brain of the system.

3) During regeneration, a strong brine solution is flushed through the resin tank, bathing the resin beads in a stream of sodium ions which replace the accumulated calcium and magnesium ions (hardness).

4) The brine solution, carrying the displaced calcium and magnesium ions, is then flushed down the drain by fresh water. The regenerated resin beads can be used again and again.
